William Shell

William Shell age 84 of Shawneetown, IL died Sunday, March 07, 2010, at the Ridgway Manor Nursing Home in Ridgway, IL. William was born on March 2, 1924 in Shawneetown to the late Sherman Shell and Emma (Knowles) Shell. William was a retired coal miner working at the B & W and Pekin Coal mines. He was a good father, brother and friend.

William is survived by 2 sons, Larry and Bill Shell and a daughter Carla Shell all of Pope County, Il. 2 Brothers - Sherman Shell of Shawneetown and Glendall Shell of Paxton, IL.

Funeral Services for William will be Monday, March 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Shawneetown, IL at the Cox and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 12 Noon on Monday. Rev. Jack Hall will officiate and the interment will be in Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown.
