Sherry Lynn Boulds

Sherry Lynn Boulds, age 57 of Ridgway died suddenly in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville IN from an apparent heart problem. She was surrounded by her family when she left this life. Lynn as most knew her was born a career military child, being born at the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Her parents were Charles and Evelyn (Shepard) Porter both deceased. The Porter family moved to Ridgway in the early 1970's and Lynn graduated high school in Ridgway. On September 28, 1973 she married the love of her life, Jim Boulds who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1996. She started working for the Wabash Area Development Area (WADI) in the dietary department. Her love was to help the Head Start Families.

Lynn loved to read and was a very intelligent person. She loved her family as that was so important to her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed.

Lynn is survived by 2 sons, Jason Boulds of Ridgway, and Jared Boulds of Tucson, AZ, and a daughter Dana Boulds of Ridgway, she is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Jaime Reynolds, Cassidy & Caleb Boulds. Lynn is also survived by 2 sisters, Kim Tipton and Myra Willis of Ridgway and her mother in law, Margaret Boulds of Ridgway. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, her brother, Wes Porter and her father in law, Ed Boulds.

Visitation for Lynn will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 12 Noon till 1:00PM. A graveside service will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with family and friends presiding.

In lieu of flowers Lynn had requested that donations be made to the Head Start Program at WADI. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
