Robert D. Gill

Robert D. Gill, age 79, of New Haven, IL died April 23, 2013 in Ferrell Hospital. Robert was born on May 7, 1933 in New Haven to the late Roy Gill and Felise (Ambrous) Gill. Robert was a retired contractor for many years in California before moving back to New Haven. He loved building things, horse riding and actually rode in the Rose Parade in California. He served his country in the Marines in Korea. He was a Mason at the Ridgway Lodge and a member of the VFW in Carmi.

He survived by 4 sons, Steven Gill, Michael Gill, Russell Gill, and Ricky Gill all of California, a daughter, Sherry Gill of California. 2 sisters, Melba Knapp of Nevada and Joane Lovell of Carlsbad, CA. His loving companion Judy Goforth of New Haven. 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Louise and a sister Ramona

Per Robert's request he was accorded cremation. There will be no services and his cremains will be inurned at a later date
