Mildred Kathy Clifford

Mildred Katherine “Kathy” Clifford, age 63, of New Haven passed on this life peacefully on July 23, 2017, in the Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.  She was surrounded by her family.  Kathy as most knew her was born in Evansville, IN on January 2, 1954 to the late Harry and Mildred (Spangler) Phillips.  In 1970 she married the love of her life, Clarence Clifford.

Kathy loved to read, Facebook, play games and travel.  She really loved her times in Gatlinburg and enjoyed listening to Toby Keith.  Her real love in life though was her family especially being with her children and grandchildren.  Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and will be missed.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Clarence Clifford of New Haven, 2 sons,  Rodney and Stephnie Clifford, Tim (Tracy Richardson), daughter April Clifford (Chuck Pace) all of New Haven.  Grandchildren, Anthony Clifford, Meghan Haggard, Rieghlynn Clifford, Lexi Hughes, Laci Hughes, Gaige Clifford, Nevaeh Richardson, Aaliyah Richardson and Alliyanah Richardson all of New Haven.  One Great grandson, Beau Russell.  She is also survived by siblings, Sue Blye, Mary Ann and Donny Smithhart, Cecilia Phillips, Harry Philips, James Phillips and Richard (Judy) Phillips.  Many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded by 2 brothers, Bobby and George Phillips.

Visitation for Kathy will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Her funeral service will at the funeral home on Thursday July 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Todd Holtzclaw will officiate and her burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven.
