Melvin T. Cobb

Melvin T. Cobb, age 49 died Sunday, March 14, 2010 in the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Melvin was born on February 10, 1961 in Greenville, Kentucky to M.C. and Edna (Massey) Cobb. Melvin was a logger most of his life and loved to do any type of carpentry. He was a loved father, son, brother and friend and will be missed.
Melvin is survived by his mother, Edna Cobb, 2 sons, Dustin and Ricky Cobb, 2 daughters, Misty and Melissa Cobb. 3 Sisters, Beverly Chaney, Jeanette Stanley, and Laura Lee Lynnville. 4 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and 1 daughter, April.
Melvin wished to be cremated and a private family committal will be held at a later date.
Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown is entrusted with the arrangements.
