Mary Elizabeth Rumage

Mary Elizabeth Rumage age 84 of Ridgway but formerly of Kentucky died peacefully at the home of her daughter on Monday, February 03, 2014. Mary was born in Rumsey, Ky on July 27, 1929 to the late Ben Gunterman and Hazel (Sweeeney) Garrison. Mary was a homemaker her entire life. She was raised Catholic. She love to garden and cook but her life has been her family especially helping raise her grandchildren. Mary was a wonderful soul and will be missed.

Visitation for Mary will be on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cox & Son funeral home in Ridgway, IL. Her funeral will then follow as a graveside service at the Ross Cemetery in Kentucky. Rev. Gary Popp will officiate

Mary is survived by 2 daugthers, Elizabeth (Bryan) Goben of Evansville, IN and Charlotte Myers of Ridgway. 2 sisters, Grace Mills and Gwen Hines both of Indiana, 16 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Hugh Taylor and Harold Cauley and 1 daughter, Linda Popp.
