Mary J. Riley

(Shawneetown, IL) Mary Jesse Riley, age 96 longtime resident of Shawneetown passed on this life, June 29, 2007 at the Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado, IL surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Riley was born on January 22, 1911 to the late Jesse & Sarah (Bramlet) Lowe. On October 18, 1929 she married James A. Riley who preceded her in death on January 15, 1988.

Mary was a homemaker, and a faithful member of the Ohio Valley General Baptist Church where her husband pastored for many years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed her family, friends and the community.

Son Keith (Gathy) Riley Shawneetown, IL

13 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 stepsons, Gaylon and Charles Riley, 2 Sisters, Mildred (Jake) Oldham, and Matha (Buck) Nelson and 1 grandchild.
