Mark L. Frailey

Mark L. Frailey, age 57 longtime Shawneetown resident passed on this life suddenly on November 7, 2022 at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, IL.  Mark was born in Eldorado, IL on June 28, 1965 to the late Frank and Janet (Berry) Frailey.   On June 15, 1985 he married the love of his life, Cindy (Dozier) Frailey who survives.

Mark and Cindy spent over 13 years in Alaska working before coming back to Shawneetown where they both started.   Mark and Cindy in 2010 built and opened the Lincoln Street Pub where they ran successfully for 10 years before deciding to retire.  Mark loved to be around his friends and especially his golfing and pool playing buddies.  He was a member of the Gallatin Co. Pool League.  He had a great mind and could answer most trivia questions you asked him.  He will be remembered as a good man that was always even keel no matter the situation.  He could make you feel better about your situation.  Mark was a great Husband, Father, Brother and Friend and will be missed by many.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cindy Frailey, a daughter, Taylor Frailey, a brother Brian (Virgie) Patton, a niece, Ashley Patton and a host of friends.

A celebration of life for Mark will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Lincoln Street Pub in Shawneetown starting at 4 PM.  The family asks for his friends and family come out share stories in his memory.
