Lena Acord

Lena L. Acord age 85, lifelong resident of New Haven, Il passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007 in the Deaconess Hospice Care Center after an extended illness. Lena was born in New Haven on February 18, 1922 to the late John Steele and Ester (Shaw) Steele. She was married to James ""Hawk"" Acord who preceded her in death. Lena was always a very happy and loving person especially enjoying the company of her family and friends. She was a good wife, great mother and grandmother, good sister and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
