Laura Jean McGhee

Laura Jean McGhee, age 41 of Eldorado, IL, but longtime resident of Gallatin County died Thursday, April 16, 2009 after an extended illness. Laura Jean was born in Eldorado, IL on January 26, 1968 to the late Bill Brooks and Delana (Oldham) Morse who survives.Laura was a member of the Leamington Community Church. She loved the outdoors and loved to fish. She was a good Mother, Sister, Daughter and Friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She put up a valiant fight for her family and friends to overcome this sickness.
She is survived by, 2 Sons, Michael and Adam McGhee of Eldorado, IL, Mother and Step Father, Delana and Jim Morse of Junction, IL, Brother Ted Boulds of Harrisburg, Il., Uncle and Aunt, Charles and Oretha Oldham of Equality, many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and grandparents, Garcia and Imogene Oldham.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Ceremony will be Monday, April 20, 2009 starting at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Buddy Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
