Justin M. ""Rudy"" Brooks

Justin M. ""Rudy"" Brooks, age 26 of Junction died suddenly at his home Wednesday, June 29, 2011 as a result of an accident. Rudy as everyone knew him was born in Harrisburg, IL on September 4, 1984 to David Brooks and Cathy (Pindell) Back. Rudy went to school at Gallatin County and had worked for Agarian Enterprises on the farm for about 6 years. Rudy was such a colorful person and full of life. He had so many passions in life, from hunting, fishing, 4 wheel riding, music, his dog Woody, but his main thing was working on the farm and driving the tractors. He loved to spend time with his family especially having cookouts. Even though taken early in life, his impact on others that he touched will never be forgot.

Rudy is survived by, his father, David (Lori) Brooks of Shawneetown, his mother, Cathy (James) Back of Shawneetown, brother, Dwight (Caroline) Brooks of Shawneetown, his sister, Holly Brooks of Johnson City, Il his grandmother, Ailene Brooks of Shawneetown Grandmother, Tressie Pindell of Junction. Many cousins and wonderful friends.

Visitation for Rudy will be Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be on Saturday at the funeral home starting at 2:00PM. Rev. Bob Powell will officiate and interment will be in the Hogan Cemetery south of Shawneetown.
