John L. Collins, age 71, long time Ridgway resident passed away at his home Wednesday, April 23, 2008.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Ridgway, American Legion of Ridgway. John was a long time farmer before retirement.
He was born on February 19, 1937 to Joe and Marie (Berkel) Collins of Gallatin County.
John has one daugther, Vicky (Mark) Drone of Effingham, Illinois and
two brothers, Fred Collins in LA and Jim Collins deceased. Two sisters, Mary Jane Harris of Boulder, CO. and Ilene Golden of Springfield, IL. 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild survive.
At John's request he is to be cremated with private services held later.
