James Russell Clark, age 60 of New Haven, Il, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 27, 2008 after an extended illness. Mr. Clark was born in Jefferson City, Iowa on November 11, 1947 to the late Garold and Everlyn (Harris) Clark. He is married to Nancy (Potts) Clark.
Mr. Clark, had retired from the National Forest Service and most recently had been working in Mt. Vernon, IN at the GE plant. Mr. Clark served his country in the Army. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Eldorado, Eldorado VFW and the Tates Chapel Church near Galatia.
Survivors include, his Wife, Nancy Clark of New Haven, IL., Son, Matthew Clark of Marion, IL, Son, Joe Clark of Eldorado, IL, Daughter, Jama Clark of Harrisburg, Il., Sister, Annita Madden of California and 1 Grandchild.
At Mr. Clarks request, his body will be cremated and a Graveside memorial service will be held at the Tates Chapel Cemetery near Galatia on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM Those attending should go directly to the cemetery. There will be Military rites conducted and the Rev. Paul Brown will officiate. The family will gather at the Eldorado Eagles Club around 12 noon on Thursday for a service and meal.
Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway will conduct the service.
