Hubert Clifford

Hubert L. Clifford, age 60, of Ridgway passed on this life, February 9, 2022 at his home.  Hubert was born in Carmi, IL on December31, 1961 to the late Hubert and Shirley (Brewer) Clifford.  He was raised in New Haven where he spent most of his life.

Hubert graduated from Ridgway High School, where he was a very good athlete. He then served his country in the United States Army.  He had been a carpenter most of his life.  Hubert loved to visit with his friends and his daughter, and always had a smile for you.  The last few years of poor health he was home a lot but he had his companion, a little dog named Cricket that went with him everywhere.   Hubert will be missed by many.

Hubert is survived by his daughter, Rachell Clifford of Arkansas, a brother, Carl (Angie) Clifford, 2 sisters, Evelyn Durbin and Threasa (Eric) Clifford, his little dog Cricket, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
