Hilda S Jones

Hilda S. Jones, 91, of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:15 A.M. on Monday July 24, 2017 at Quality Health Care of Winter Garden FL.

Hilda was born on March 19, 1926 in Harrisburg, Il, the daughter of Joseph and Juliana Matulikos Stankunas. She was married to Don Edward Jones of Ridgway, IL who preceded in her death.

Hilda graduated from Harrisburg HS. She worked for US Forest Service, Federal Government and Main Fashions.

She Traveled with her Husband to Honduras, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Canada until his Death.

She spent her later years in Decatur Illinois relocating to Leesburg FL to be closer to her son.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her sister.

She is survived by her son Leslie (Sondra) Jones of Apopka FL and  3 grandchildren.

Graveside Ceremony will be at 11:00 AM on Nov. 20, 2017 with Dr. Arthur Eichorn officiating. Burial will be held at Crawford Campground Cemetery in Ridgway, IL.
