Fada Mae ""Knight"" Moore, Holmberg age 89, formerly of Ridgway, died peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2011 in the Way-Fair Nursing Home in Fairfield, IL. Fada was born on August 12, 1922 in Golden Pond, Ky to the late, William and Ada Lee (Boyle) Knight. Fada was first married Nay Mohon, then Harold Moore and Francis Holmberg, they all preceded her in death. Fada was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albion. She love to crochet and quilt but was really noted for her German Chocolate and Coconut Cakes but famous for her Cherry Pies. Fada had been a survivor of cancer for 56 years before her recent illness. Fada was a very good wife, sister, daughter and friend, but mostly was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was so important to her. Her beautiful smile and being will be missed. She is survived by, a son, Terry (Brenda) Moore of Albion, Il, Grandson, Anthony ""Leif"" (Vicki) Eriksson of Springfield, IL, Nathan (Barbara) Moore of Gibson City, IL and Tyler Moore of New York, NY. Also survived by Great Grandchildren, Niki (Mark) Vogel of Mt. Vernon, IN & Singapore and Ian Eriksson of Springfield, IL along with many nieces and nephews. Fada was preceded in death by her husbands, her beloved son, Charles E. ""Mohon"" Moore, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Fada's service has been entrusted to Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway and a graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Palestine #2 Cemetery outside of Omaha starting at 1:00 PM with Rev.
