Daniel G. McGuire

Daniel G. McGuire, age 55 of Ridgway died Monday, April 08, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Dan as most knew him, was born in Alton, IL to the late James and Miona (Endicott) McGuire. In 2006 he married the former Linda Lanier who survives. He was a carpenter most of his life. He loved to camp, fish be outdoors but really loved his dog, especially Sam.

Dan is survived by his wife, Linda of Ridgway, 3 daughters, Rolanda Hinton of New Haven, Mindy McGuire of Mt. Vernon, IN, and Melanie Dauby of Mt. Vernon, IN. 1 step son, Corey Lanier of China. 6 Brothers, Tom , Darren, and Ray McGuire all of Carmi, Il, Ron of Mt. Vernon, IN, Darrell of Enfield, IL and Roger of Alabama, 1 Sister, Connie Harrelson of Equality and 5 grandchildren, Paige Wilson, Damon Hinton, Jack Hinton, Haley Russell and Emma Jackson, he was also preceded by 2 brothers, Keith and Kelly McGuire and a sister Brenda McGuire.

Visitation for Dan will be on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway. His funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rob Gallion officiating assisted by Rev. Randy Davis. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood.
