Clarence Edward Clifford, a beloved member of the New Haven community, passed away peacefully at his home, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and dedication. Born on November 6, 1947, to Barney & Dessie (Travelstead) Clifford in New Haven. On October 23,1970 Clarence married Kathy (Phillips) Clifford, she proceed in death on July 23rd, 2017. 

Throughout his years, Clarence made significant contributions to the village where he worked diligently and became an integral part of the community. He enjoyed simple pleasures like fishing, hunting, cracking jokes, and crafting jewelry from pecan shells. His warm personality and sense of humor were well known to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Clarence was a loving father to his surviving daughter April Clifford, and sons Rodney (Stephnie) Clifford and Tim (Tracy) Clifford. He is also survived by his sister Jennie (Mike) Smith.

Clarence is also survived by Grandchildren: Anthony Clifford, Meghan (Austin) Russell, Rieghlynn Clifford, Gaige Clifford, Aaliyah, Nevaeh & Alliyanah Richardson, Laci & Lexi Hughes.

In Clarence's passing, he is reunited with his parents Barney Clifford & Dessie (Travelstead) Clifford; brothers William and Hurbert (PeeWee) Clifford; sisters JoAnn Emry, Rose Golforth, Edith Littrell, Louise Johnston, and Kay Mason. Their memories will live on alongside the fond recollections of Clarence's family and friends.

The funeral service to honor Clarence Edward Clifford's life will be held at Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven on July 8th, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service at noon. His presence will be deeply missed but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Burial will take place at Union Ridge where he will be laid to rest by his wife Kathy following the funeral service.
