Brenton Wolfe

Brenton Wolfe, age 82 longtime Shawneetown resident passed on this life, October 15, 2021.  Brenton was born in Gary, Indiana on November 4, 1938 to the late Joseph and Nila (Sweet) Wolfe.  He served his country in the US Marines during Vietnam.

Brenton worked for most of his life as a Carpenter.  He loved to hunt for Arrow heads and talk with his friends.  He loved animals especially his dog.  Brenton will be remembered for his talent in wood working, his story telling and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Mykel Wolfe of Florida, a son, Jeff Wolfe of Indiana, brothers, James Wolfe, John Wolfe and a sister Charolette King.  He was preceded by sons, Kelly and Brett Wolfe, along with 3 sisters, Dorothy Call, Naomi Nelson, and Marion Bey.

Graveside services will be Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown at 1:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM
