Barbara Isobel Richeson

Barbara Isobel Richeson, age 80 died Thursday, January 19, 2012 in the Hospice Unit of Memorial Hospital in Henderson, Ky. She was born on August 11, 1931 in Gallatin County to the late H.H. and Edith (Dutton) Barlow. She was married in 1952 to D.A. Richeson who preceded her in death in 2008. She was always a very active person and very hardworker. She had helped farm most of her life. She had lifelong member of the Methodist Church in Shawneetown. Isobel was a good wife, loving mother and grandmother and good sister. She will be missed .

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Martha (David) Cox of Shawneetown and Margaret (David) Patton of Shawneetown, along with grandchildren, Shawna Bosaw, Jennifer Cox, Barbie Downen, Joyce Ann Salger and David Patton. She was preceded also by a sister, Ann Dempsey

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be interred privately with the family at a later date in the Hogan Cemetery next to her husband. Cox & Son funeral home in Shawneetown is entrusted with the arrangements.
